Peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2001. Beloved husband of the late Anne Mayoff. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Rhona and Richard Pervin, Ian and Randi Morantz. Cherished grandpa of Elana, Leah, Tobi, Nicholas, Joshua, and Andrew. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Joe and Mollie Morantz, Phil and Zelda Morantz, Helen and David Mankofsky, the late Molly and the late Leonard Bodenstein, the late Pearl and the late Ben Ash; and brother-in-law of Sol and Essie Mayoff, Moe and Sarah Mayoff. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and all of those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the staff of the Mount Sinai Hospital Palliative Care unit for their heartwarming care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, October 8 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Adath Israel Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his residence. Due to the Festival of Sukkoth, the Shiva will commence on the evening of Wednesday, October 10.
