LABIS, Lilyan, RN (nee Rotgaus)
Peacefully, in her seventy-sixth year, on Thursday, March 29, 2012, with her granddaughter, Veronica by her side. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Stanley for more than fifty-three years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Eric, and Mona and Joseph Morgentaler. Cherished grandma of Shane and Karen Labis; Veronica and Matthew Morgentaler. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Miriam and Michael Stirrup. Dear aunt of Jeffrey and Irene Stirrup, Sean and Judy Stirrup, and great-aunt "Lily" of Chloe and Owen. Daughter of the late Samuel and the late Dora Rotgaus. Special thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses of 9 West ICU at the Montreal General Hospital and to Dr. Bader Al-Bader. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Leslie Hore Belisha Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 37 Promenade des Iles, Laval.
