RYDEL, Feiga. In her ninety-third year on Thursday, July 4, 2002. Wife of the late Asher Rydel. Beloved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Hanka and the late Romek Hornstein. Loving grandmother of Sam and Merle Hornstein, Ruth and Howard Dermer, Mark and Lysa Hornstein. Dear great-grandmother of Adam, Emily and Joshua Dermer; Daniel and Julia Hornstein. Sister of the late Helena Nowacki of Israel. Predeceased by her parents, three sisters and one brother who perished in the Holocaust. Special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She was a woman of great valour, who will be deeply missed. Special thanks to her caregivers Elizabeth and Wanda; to Julia, Anna and the entire staff of 4 South Maimonides Hospital for their care and devotion. Funeral service took place from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, July 5 at 3:15 p.m. Burial at the Leslie Hore Belisha Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
