YAFFE, Murray. After a courageous battle on Thursday, September 14, 2006. Beloved husband and best friend of Sally Capen. Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of Joel and Genevieve, and Amy. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Gloria and Wally Isenberg and brother-in-law of Karen Capen, the late Diana Christie. Cherished uncle of Bruce Isenberg, Clifford and Elana Isenberg; Marcus and Sonia Schioler, Daniel Schioler and great uncle of Lucas and Kylie Isenberg; Sammy and Emma Schioler. Special nephew of Rose and Eli Yaffe, Claire Fogel and Margaret Etinson. Sadly mourned by his cousins and many friends. Murray dedicated his life to his family and his community which he loved so dearly. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all those whose lives he touched. Heartfelt thanks to Drs. Jeffrey Barkun, Gerald Batist, David Melnychuk, Bernard Lapointe, Rubin Becker and the nurses and staff of the Jewish General Hospital for their extraordinary care and compassion. Funeral service took place from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday September 15 at 3 p.m. Burial at Leslie Hore Belisha Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva at his home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. In lieu of gifts or flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the "Murray I.
