It is with a great deal of sadness, that we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy Star, wife of the late Charles Star, after a brief illness, in Toronto, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Dorothy lived a rich life over an incredible span of ninety-two years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Isaac and Nadine, Murray and Debbie, Ronnie and Joanne, Claire and the late Gerald. Dorothy was the most amazing and loving Bubby to Robbi, Dayna, Daniel, Rebecca, Charlie, Sam, and Matthew. Her drive and zest for living was unparalleled. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday May 12 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Leslie Hore Belisha Cemetery, de la Savane. The family will be receiving visitors on Saturday, May 13 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m., Shiva on Sunday, May 14 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. at 365 Beverley Glen Boulevard, Thornhill, Ontario.
