BRENDER, Bernice (nee Cherry)
Suddenly, in her eightieth year, on Thursday, January 8, 2015. Devoted wife of the late Harold for sixty years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Shelley Brender and Marc Kerschner, Susan Brender and Joseph Davis, Mark Brender and Rhonda Rudick. Cherished Bubbie of Paige Stermer and Stuart Becker, Marissa Stermer; Anthony, and Daniel Davis; Carly, Jessica, Jenna and Aiden Brender. Loving great-grandmother of Evan Lee Becker. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Dave and Daisy Cherry, Rose and Bill Abrams, Anita and Nat Bercovitch, Sam and Dolly Wagen, and Harry Cherry. Dear sister-in-law of Bella-Jean and Michael Tilner, and the late Hymie Brender. Sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 11 at 12 noon. Burial at the Leslie Hore Belisha Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her son Mark's home.
