MITCHNICK, Bennie. On Wednesday February 8, 2006 in his ninetieth year. Beloved husband of Ruth Bloomfield. Devoted father and father-in-law of Beverley and Leon Kornbluth, and the late Martin Mitchnick. Cherished grandfather of Howard Kornbluth, Murray and Chantal Kornbluth, Heidi and Jason Moore, David Mitchnick, and Daniel Mitchnick. Great-grandfather of five. Predeceased by his siblings Jack, Ray Mogilefsky, Esther Ditkofsky, Annie Goldberg, Becky Mogilefsky. Brother-in-law of Carl Bloomfield, Seymour Bloomfield, the late Clara Myers, the late Solly Bloomfield and the late Paul Bloomfield. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Jim Stewart and the cardiology staff at the Montreal General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon w. on Sunday, February 12 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private. |
