HOLLANDER, Liza (nee Amasowicz). On Wednesday, December 4, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Saul. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Rosalia and Harold Blond of Toronto, Fanny Hollander and Orlando Harvey, and the late Charles Hollander. Cherished Bubby of Joseph and Miriam Blond; Sean and Amanda Harvey. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Krishe and the late Abe Jacobson, and the late Hershel who perished in the Holocaust. She will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law, her nieces and nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank her special caregivers Ingrid, Verona and Veronica, and the staff of the Waldorf Residence for their loving care and devotion. A special thank you to nurse Carolina, Rita Aber, Ellen Tissenbaum, and Dr. Becker. Your exceptional care, kindness and support will forever be appreciated. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Thursday, December 5 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Chevra Shaas Cemetery, de la Savane.
