SCHWARTZ, Ann (nee Lendman). Owner founder of Garderie et Jardins d'Enfants Montessori Inc. passed away peacefully, in her ninety-third year, on Friday, March 30, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Mack. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Phyllis Schwartz, Murray and Helene Schwartz. Cherished Bubby of Josh, Lauren and Brandon Schwartz. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Tillie Berlin, Lou and Reva Lendman. Predeceased by her other sisters, Elsie Kreutner, Molly Lieberman, Lily Littman and Dora Feitleberg. She was a pioneer in Montessori education and the first woman to bring Preschool Montessori education to Quebec. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched over the years. The family would like to thank her caregivers Kathleen and Amie for their loving care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, April 1 at 12 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 748 Powell Ave., T.M.R.
