ADLER, Bill. In Ottawa, in his ninety-eighth year, on Sunday, July 22, 2007, within a month of being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and lived independently in his home until 6 days before being admitted to the hospital. Beloved husband of the late Leona Nulman (2004) and Cecilia Metz (1933). Loving father of Phillip (Irene Glenn), Sandra (Bob Martinelli), Jeff, Marilyn (Neil Blacher) and Elayne (Farley Stenzler). Grandpa and Zaidie to 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Brother and brother-in-law of Hymie and Diane, the late Teddy and Cecil, the late Bea and Harry Godfrey, the late Louis, the late Issie and Anne Nulman, Minnie Raskin, Frida Meyer and Gloria and Ervin Stein. Special thanks to Leticia for her exceptional home care and the wonderful, caring Palliative Care Team of the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Kelly, Jennifer, Penny, Rosie, Alice and Dr. Chawla. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, July 24 at 2 p.m.urial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 32 Sioux Cres., Ottawa commencing on Wednesday, July 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
