GREENBERG, Mary (nee Langer). After a lengthy and bravely fought battle with Alzheimer's, in her eighty-fourth year on Wednesday, February 5, 2003. Devoted wife and best friend of the late Mortimer Greenberg. Loving mother of Barry, Howard and Sanford. Mother-in-law of Suzanne. Cherished grandmother of Justin. Sister of the late Barney Langer, the late Tiby Cossever, and the late Bertha Engelstein. Dear sister-in-law of Isobel Greenberg, Pearl Langer, Sam Cossever, and the late Bernard Engelstein. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Special thanks to her devoted caregiver Rena Straisfeld and to the staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre (Jewish Hospital of Hope) for their years of devotion and compassion. Mary was known for her caring, generous and fun-loving spirit. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Friday, February 7 at 1 p.m. Burial at the North End Wilkomirer Society Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
