Obituary BLAICHMAN, Hanka A Holocaust survivor Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at the age of ninety-four. Beloved wife of the late Sam Blaichman. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Isaac and Myrna Blaichman, Dr. Shirley Blaichman and Dr. Mel Schwartz, Marvin and Tamara Blaichman. Cherished 'Bubby Ann' of Sam Blaichman and Dr. Jessica Bortnick, Dr. Jason Blaichman, Rachelle Blaichman and Dr. Jeff Segal; Esther Schwartz and Fidel Whyte, Dr. Sarah Schwartz and Jamie Gamble, Dr. Joseph Schwartz and Jessica Essebag, Leah Schwartz; Jared, Jonah, and Samara Blaichman. Special 'Great-Bubby Ann' of Rose Shayna, Joseph Charles and Coral Lillian Blaichman; Emma Bess and Jacob Zev Segal; Isaiah and Noah Whyte; Jack Gamble; and Abigail Rose Schwartz. Predeceased by her parents and family members who perished in the Holocaust. The family would like to express their appreciation to Drs. David Amdursky and Julius Gomolin for the many years of expert and compassionate care. Special thanks to Linda Dadua and Ken Maricris Ortega for their kindness and care, and to the staff of the Waldorf Residence. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, December 29 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the North End Wilkomirer Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
