SWIDLER, Samuel. In his ninety-sixth year on Sunday, April 11, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude Swidler and the late Fay Abramovitch. Devoted father and father-in-law of Myrna and Mervin Wolf, John and Vickie Swidler. Wonderful grandfather to Stephen and Patricia Wolf, Alan Wolf and Paulette Ginsberg, Keith and Lori Wolf; Gary Swidler and Jennifer Dalven, Darren Swidler, Todd Swidler and fiancee Sarah Mlynowski; Proud great-grandfather of eight great-grandchildren. Sadly mourned by Fay's children and grandchildren Ernie and Patricia Abramovitch, Nyssa and Mark Besner and thier children Mitchell and Daleet Abramovitch, Ellen and David Fisher; Jeffrey and Alana Besner, Eric and Debra Besner, and great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Benjamin Swidler (the late Lillian); the late Sarah Berger (the late Jack); the late Ann Guttman (the late Max). Special Uncle. A very kind and gentle man. The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and wonderful staff of 3 South at Maimonides Geriatric Centre and to his companions Lito and Elizabeth for their exceptional care. Funeral services from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, April 14 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the North End Wilkomirer Society Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva Private.
