BLOCH, Arthur. On Thursday, July 21, 2005. Loving husband and best friend for sixty-one years of Dorothy Marovitch. Devoted father and father-in-law of Helena and Avrum Sonin, Jeffry Bloch and Ardis Smith. Cherished and adored Papa Arthur of Robert Sonin and Maxine West, Joanne Sonin and Mark Coates, Gillian Sonin, David, Matthew and Colin Bloch. Great grandfather of Dania and Martin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Kurt and the late Renee Bloch. Brother-in-law of Issie and Esther Marovitch, Naomi Carsley, Sidney and Esther Marovitch, Morty Myers, Mavis and Jerry Reinblatt. Son of the late Joseph and the late Freda Bloch who perished in the Holocaust. Arthur will be sadly missed by family and his many friends. Funeral Service took place from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday July 24. Shiva private. Donations in his memory may be made to the Jewish National Fund (514) 934-0313. |
