FLAX, Rose (nee Pomerantz). Peacefully, on Monday, December 22, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Harry Lewis. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Jack and Ann Flax, Judy and the late Herb Flax. Cherished grandmother of Steven and Marcy, Robin and Jason, Joanna and Orest. Great-grandmother of Benjamin, Elizabeth Rose, and Timothy. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Rae and Herman Adesky, Mary and Morris Dubin, Jean and Syd Gillick. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the 6th Floor of the Jewish Eldercare Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, December 26, at 11 a.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at the Jewish Eldercare Centre, Hope Pavilion, Victoria Avenue, Room 2C26, Friday until 3 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
