MAMANE, Simy (nee Oizana) Peacefully, in her ninety-second year, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, December 5, 2014. Wife of the late Meir Mamane. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Daniel, Isaac and Monserrat, Ruth and Alain Grosrichard, Noemie, Albert Mamane and Ann Begin. Sister of the late Perla Cohen. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters in Israel. Cherished "Mami" of Yael Mamane, Eve and Marco Santucci; Myriam Mamane; William Mamane; Michael and Julia Rosenfeld, Sarah Rosenfeld; David and Melissa Mamane, Adam, and Leah Mamane. Proud great-grandmother of Noah Havida; Ella and Gabi Santucci. Sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, family and friends in Israel and Montreal. Heartfelt thanks to her devoted caregivers Claire, Odette and Jeanne. Special thanks to the staff of 6 North and to Susan Schwartz of the Memory Clinic at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private, services at the Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue.
