After a brief illness, on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Beloved husband of Rhonda. Son of the late Tzivia and the late Leibish. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Mayer and Mindy, the late Arvy, Rachel and Issie Shanfield. Cherished uncle of Ronit and Avi, Alona and Andrew, Elisheva and Matt, Dena and Yehuda, Avigail, Aryeh and Jordana. Adoring great-uncle of AJ, Eli, Sadie, Miley, Hannah, Ella, Akiva, Shalhevet, Nava, Talya. He will be greatly missed by a dear family friend, Margaret. The family is grateful for the devoted care of Dr. Peter Metrakis and his team. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, October 14 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Canadian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Due to the festival of Succoth, shiva commences Saturday evening, October 18, at 5581 Cavendish Blvd., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. |
