After a lengthy and very difficult struggle with metastatic breast cancer on Wednesday, January 23, 2002. Loving and devoted mother of Ira Salman and Tara Salman. Cherished daughter of Dora Pfefer (Grosbard) and the late Avrum Pfefer. Sister and sister-in-law of Anita and Hymie Krakow, Nick and Roz Pfefer, and Larry Pfefer. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, January 25 at 1:45 pm. Burial at the Canadian Hebrew Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva private. Donations in her memory may be made to Gilda's Club or Breast Cancer Action Montreal. |
