KATZ, Philip Peacefully, on Monday, December 10, 2012, with his wife by his side. Beloved husband of Sarah Melamed for sixty-five years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Sharon and Jerry Baranoff, Joel and Sandra Katz, Corinne Katz, Pamela and Mark Caron. Adored Zaidy of Ilana and Steven, Steven and Donna, Glenn and Stephanie, Shawna and Shawn, Elyssa and Kenny, Stewart and Jessica, Amanda and Peter, Michelle and Ryan. Proud and loving great-grandfather of ten. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Joe and Ida, Archie and Ruth. Phil will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, December 12 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Canadian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
