ROSENTHAL, Irina (nee Gelberg) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Irina Rosenthal on Friday, April 1, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Mozes (Marci) Rosenthal. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Judith and Antonio Rapaport. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Chaim (Zoli) and Kati Gilboa of Israel, and sister-in-law Barbara Mitis and the late Aron Rosenthal, the late Henrik and the late Annie Rosenthal, Samuel and the late Etelka Reisz, Joseph and the late Margaret Rosenthal. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and all who knew her. The family would like to thank Drs. Arnold Zylberberg, Jason Agulnik and Boris Bahoric, their team and the staff of the Jewish General Hospital. Special thanks and gratitude to Dr. Golda Tradounsky and her team of doctors and nurses at the Palliative Care Unit, Mount Sinai Hospital, for their exceptional and compassionate care to the end. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon ST. W., on Sunday, April 3 at 9 a.m. Burial at the Chevra T'hilim Pinsker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. The family will be receiving friends and relatives at her home from 2 to 6 p.m., until Wednesday, April 6. |
