BERNSTEIN, Edwin On Thursday, June 12, 2014 in his ninety-second year. Beloved husband of Ruth Blander for seventy-one wonderful years. Much loved by his children Kari Kirzner, David and Lynn Bernstein, Dave and the late Arleen Gurberg; by his grandchildren Richard and Tanya Gurberg, Ron and Carole Gurberg, Kris Kirzner, Jessica Kirzner and Jeff Preston, Matt Bernstein, Kelly Bernstein; and by his great-grandchildren Tyler, Zachery, Tristan, and Shane. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Special thanks to the staff of 6 North at the Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 15, at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Chevra Thillum Pinkser Cemetery, de la Savane. The family requests that Shiva be observed in the strictest of privacy.
