KORNFELD, Regina (nee Miedzigorski) A Holocaust survivor. Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, January 24, 2010, in her ninety-sixth year. Beloved wife of the late Jacob Kornfeld. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Irwin and Jodi Kornfeld. Cherished Bubby of Jennifer and Matthew. Regina will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Predeceased by her brothers Wolf and Kalmo, and by her parents and other siblings who perished in the Holocaust. The family would like to thank the staff at the Manoir Montefiore Residence for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 26 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Thilim Pinsker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 68 rue Mulberry, Dollard-des-Ormeaux. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
