CIUBOTARU, Jack (Iancu) Suddenly at home, surrounded by loved ones, on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at the age of eighty-four. Beloved and devoted husband, best friend and soul mate of Bianca Grunberg Ciubotaru for over fifty-five years. Loving son of the late Zisla and the late Huna Ciubotaru, and son-in-law of the late Clara and the late Leon Grunberg. Cherished and respected father and father-in-law of Jeffrey and Shelley Ciubotaru, Marla and Richard Lefcort. Thoughtful and loving grandfather of Brandon and Derek Berish; Jason and Lauren Ciubotaru. Adoring brother and brother-in-law of Any and Abe Dichter, Sylvia and the late Irving Ciubotaru, and brother-in-law of Dan and Rachel Grunberg. A man of honour, benevolence and strength of character, Jack will be warmly remembered by his special nieces, nephews and friends, and by all those whose lives he touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, August 11 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Chevra T'hilim Pinsker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
