KROPVELD, David. Peacefully, in his ninety-first year, on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Annie Cohen for sixty-one years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Mike Kropveld and Debbie Carroll, Philip Kropveld and Jennifer Johnson. Adored "Opa" and "Poopsie" of Sean, and Josh. Predeceased by his parents and four siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Dearest brother-in-law of Renee Reich. David will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, family and many dear friends. Special thanks to his caregivers, Yvonna, Barbara, and Agnes, for their devotion, and to the doctors, nurses and staff at Mount Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, on Friday, November 28, at 12 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Thilim Pinsker Congregation Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
