PANOFF NIXON, Dora (Dorothy) (nee Lifshitz) It is with deep sadness that we announce Dora's passing on Saturday, August 18, 2018, in her ninety-fifth year. Devoted wife of the late Harry Panoff and the late Cantor Murray Nixon. Most loving mother of Brian Panoff and Susan Panoff. Cherished grandmother of Teddy and Mark Roy. Proud great-grandmother of Kayla and Tristan Roy. Sister and sister-in-law of Norma and Howard Gilmour, Anne and Max Haltrecht, Edith and the late Hyman Lifshitz, the late Lily and the late Sam Toulch. Dear sister-in-law of the late Meyer and the late Tess Panoff, the late Nessie Panoff, and the late Zelda Panoff. Special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Dora will be remembered by the Nixon family, and by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the friends and staff at the Waldorf Residence and the Palliative Care Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care. Sincere gratitude to Dr. Mark Rabinovitch. Special thanks to Monique for her devotion, compassion and care.
