LOUIS COULTER With profound sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of Louis Coulter in his eight-seventh year. Louis, (formerly of Montreal,) was predeceased by his beloved wife of fifty-two years; Thelma (Kastner) in 1994 and his treasured, elder, daughter Valerie (Brooks) in 2007. He is survived by his daughter Karen and son-in-law Anthony Young, his two grandsons; Richard (Brandy Humes) and James Coulter Brooks and their father Gordon Brooks. Louis was the greatly beloved patriarch of our family. We deeply loved and respected him, learned from him and laughed with him. Louis embodied an eternal, youthful enthusiasm and a deprecating, irreverent sense of humour for which he will always be loved and remembered. Very special thanks to the warm and compassionate staff of the third floor Reminiscence Centre at Thorne Mill on Steeles Retirement Residence, Toronto. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be most appreciated. A graveside burial will take place in Montreal at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, 5015 rue de la Savanne, Gate #1, Farband #4 at 1 p.m. |
