TAYLOR, Ruth (nee Rosenblatt) Peacefully, on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Survived by her devoted and loving daughters, Evra (Montreal) and Karen (Norman Gold) (Israel); grandchildren Michal, Meira (Avidan), Ilana (Eli), Yochanan and Avinoam; and great-grandchildren Sarah, David, Oriyah, and Yonatan, and her newest great-grandson. Predeceased by her loving brother Isadore (Kek) Rosenblatt. Ruth was the founding manager of the McGill University Printing Service, serving as a role model to many in her various career paths. The family especially thanks Dr. David Eidelman (Respirology, MGH), Dr. Ginsburg (Palliative Care), and Dr. George Tsoukas, (Endocrinology, MGH) and their teams for medical care with compassion. Special thanks to her dearest friend Lucy Felicissimo whose umbrella of friendship embraced Ruth and her family. Thanks to Ruth's dear friends who rode the hills and valleys with her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Tuesday November 27, at 2:45 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her residence on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., continuing at her daughter's residence, 6000 Cavendish Blvd., # 125, Thursday through Monday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the Respirology Unit c/o the Montreal General Hospital Foundation, (514) 934-8230. |
