LUTHER, Alfred On Friday, February 26, 2010. Life partner of Frema Wiener for fifty-three years. Loved father and father-in-law of Carla Luther and Earl Lackman, Lori Luther and Cary Weiss. Adored Poppy of Miki Lackman and Jeremy Weiss. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Elvira and Benny Friedman. Predeceased by his parents, Charles Luther and Mary Berman. The family would like to express their profound gratitude to the entire staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Montreal General Hospital for their unparalleled compassion and exceptional dedication. Private service took place at Paperman & Sons, on Sunday, February 28. The family requests that shiva be held in the strictest of privacy. Elvira will be sitting shiva at her home, 1500 rue Todd #504, Saint-Laurent.
