EISENKRAFT, Diane (nee Grossman) February 17, 1919 - July 6, 2009 With dignity and grace, at home, surrounded by her family, on Monday, July 6, 2009. Devoted daughter of the late Sabina and the late Samuel Grossman. Adored wife of the late Gus Eisenkraft. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Brenda Hayoun, Harriet Eisenkraft and Gary A. Klein, Susan Eisenkraft, and the late Gary Eisenkraft. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Gabie and the late Leatrice Grossman, Stanley Grossman and Anne Dixon Grossman. A sweet, spirited grandmother (Nanny) of Stuart, Oriana, Riva, Elise, Daniel, Rick and Wendy. Great-grandmother of Adrionna and D'Amare. Diane will be remembered with affection by her nephew Michael Grossman and niece Sandi Lash, by her makheteneste Annette Klein, and by her friends and extended family. Our gratitude and appreciation to her caregiver and friend, Perla. Special thanks to Diane's health professionals: the staff of Day Unit, Montreal Neurological Institute; Drs. Genge, Fellows, Bloom, Boudreau and, more recently, Dr. Small and Estie Dajczman, R.N. for their care and guidance. The family wishes to acknowledge the gracious Dr. J. Zigby for his amazing palliative support. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, July 9 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Diane's home, after 2 p.m. daily, through Monday, July 13. Evening services at 8 p.m. The family will receive condolence calls in Toronto at a later date.
