SOMMER, Larry Peacefully, on Monday, November 19, 2012, at the Ste. Anne's Hospital. Beloved husband of Anne Oppen for sixty-four years. Loving father and father-in-law of Lynn Sommer and Howard Yaphe, Howard Sommer and Myrna Shnier. Cherished grandfather of Sean Yaphe and Whitney Sommer. Predeceased by his brother, Al Sommer, and brothers-in-law, Moe and Mack Oppen. Larry will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. The family would like to thank the staff of Ste. Anne's Hospital for their compassion, care and support. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, November 21 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Dominion Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his daughter's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily, through Sunday, November 25.
