CALDERON, Rita Peacefully, on Monday, July 29, 2019, in her ninety-first year. Devoted wife of the late Leon. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Estelle and Steve Tauben, Merilee and Leslie Weitzman. Adoring Bubbie of Jared, Cary and Paul, and Mattie; Jordan, Addy, and Jennifer and Avi. Predeceased by her siblings. Rita will be dearly missed by Ethel and Henry Weitzman, and by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to her caregiver Eleni, and the staff at the Westhill Residence for their care and compassion. Graveside service at the Dominion Hebrew Cemetery (B26), de la Savane on Thursday, August 1 at 11:00 a.m. Shiva at her daughter Estelle's home Thursday following burial until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening service at 7:30 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Groupe A.G.I.
