COHEN, Alex Peacefully, on Sunday, February 24, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Anne Nachfolger. Loving father and father-in-law of Dr. Avrahm and Paula Cohen (Memphis, TN), Peggi Cohen and Dr. Mark Rabinovitch, Rena Cohen and Rick Parnell (Richmond, B.C.). Fun-loving and proud grandfather of Arielle (Rabinovitch) and Yaakov Roth, Robert Rabinovitch, Ava Rachael and Theo Cohen, Nash and Hart Parnell. Thrilled about his new title as great-grandfather to Samson. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses: Mildred and Sidney Collier, Bella Brown, Eva Halpern, Celia Cohen; as well as by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Rae and Joe Freder, Sam Nachfolger, Dorothy Nachfolger, Dolly and Natie Nachfolger, Meyer and Reva Nachfolger, Harry and Mary Novolker, and Molly Zemelman. Fulsome gratitude to the caring staff on 5 South at Maimonides and to his tireless and loving caregivers, Grace Asibuo, Ivy Johnson and Albert Weiner. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, February 26, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Dominion Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Peggi and Mark's home from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
