MANDEL, Pauline (nee Belfer). Peacefully at the age of one hundred and two on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 (19 Tevet). Beloved wife of the late Leon. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Moishe and the late Freda Belfer, the late Max and Esther Belfer, the late Rabbi Mendel Belfer. Pauline will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews and cousins, Anne and Larry May, Rose and Al Novack of Toronto, Ian and Chana Belfer, Marilyn and Raymond Whitzman, Roslyn and Marcus Mintz of San Diego, Irving and Tammy Belfer of Vancouver. Ruth (Belfer) and Gordon, Phil Yankofsky of Los Angeles, the late Mollie and the late Morris Yankofsky, the late Leah Zinman, the late Shirley Yankofsky. She will also be fondly remembered by her great-nieces, great-nephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. She was cherished by her entire family. Special thanks to Dr. Linda Klein, her caregiver Millie and the nurses and staff of 4C at the Jewish General Hospital of Hope. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, December 27 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Dominion Hebrew Cemetery Section, De la Savane.
