BELFER, Esther (nee Bernstein). Peacefully on Thursday, January 29, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Max. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Roslyn and Marcus Mintz, Irving and Tammi Belfer, the late Leah and David Zinman. Cherished grandmother of Cindy and Mark Cooney, Neil and Anna Mintz, David and Anna Mintz, Lonnie Belfer, Melanie Zinman, Mandy and Jonaton Kaiser-Blueth, and Howard Zinman. Great-grandmother of Sean, Matthew, Eric, Kevin, Keith, Jordan, and Aleah. Predeceased by her two brothers, Sam Bernstein and Nathan Baumstein. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, January 30, at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Dominion Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva in Vancouver.
