SCHRETER, Irving Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, November 30, 2019. Beloved husband of Bobbie Schreter for sixty-eight years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Steve and Reissa, Joey and Sandy, Pearl and Howard Klein. Cherished Zaidy of Erik and Natalie, Jamie and Lindsay, Lonnie and Sam; Ellen and Steven, Robyn and Rob; Daniel and Amy, Erin and Andrew. Proud great-grandfather of twelve loving great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Morris and late Claire Prizant, the late Sinai (Alex) and late Goldie Prizant, Judy and the late Abe Prizant; and brother-in-law of Alice and the late Joe Schreter, the late Libby and late David Milech and late Ben Zukierman. Predeceased by his parents and four siblings who perished in the Holocaust. He will be remembered with love and respect by his nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all who knew him. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the CLSC Rene-Cassin and to Irving's personal caregivers - Tessie, Jeanette and Azmera - for their compassion and devotion. Special thanks to Dr. David Shahin and Dr. Robin Billick who guided us through this most difficult time. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, December 2 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Dominion Hebrew Cemetery (B26), de la Savane.
