SILCOFF, Joseph. Peacefully in his ninety-sixth year on Thursday, May 30, 2002. Beloved husband of sixty-nine years of Clara Salpeter. Dear and devoted father and father-in-law of Bernie and Huguette Sydney and Charlotte, Brian and Janette. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Maurice and Bea, and Annie and the late Louis Rosen. Cherished zaidie of Edith and Aideen, Marc and Allison, David and Alison, Howard and Cindy, Amy-Sue and Charles, Sean and Erin, Marjorie and Edward. Proud great-grandfather of twelve. He will be sadly missed by all the lives he so gently touched. The family would like to thank the special nursing care of the 3rd floor of the Mount Sinai Hospital for their care and compassion.
