FRIED, Martin A Holocaust survivor, on Thursday, June 20, 2013. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Jager for sixty-five years. Loving father and father-in-law of Bernie and Frances, David and Darlene. Cherished Zaidie of Sabrina, Simone and Stephen, Elishe, Bethany and Paul, and Trevor. Proud great-grandfather of Sammy. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Hertzi and Jenny, Goldie and the late Avrum; and brother-in-law of the late Muntzi and the late Shoni. Survived by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by many members of his family who perished in the Holocaust. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 23 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Hungarian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private at his home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. though Wednesday evening. |
