WEINSTEIN, Gerald (Gerry) "Diddle" Peacefully, on Monday, May 23, 2016. Beloved husband of Lilian (Lynn) Polatshek for fifty-eight years. Devoted father of Jeff (Marjorie) and Suzee (Peter). Cherished Zaidie of Jarred, Ryan and fiancee Laura, and Brenna. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Irene and the late Joe Remer. Brother-in-law of Sol and Mona Polachek, Harry (Hersh) and the late Shirley Blech. Special uncle of Julie Brock. Gerry will be sadly missed by Aaron and Debbie Remer, Pearl and Milan Bratin, and his other nieces, nephews, family, and many friends. Special thanks to his wonderful caregivers, Albert, Colin, Tracey and Joseph, for their kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, May 25 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Hungarian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home.
