WEISS, Alex We are saddened to announce the passing of Alex Weiss on Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Yancovitch). He is survived by his children, Sandy and Joe Green, Rhoda Weiss-Lambrou (the late Chris Lambrou), Mason and Marsha Weiss. Proud and wonderful Zadie of Lawrence and Julie Green, Jonathan Green and Jess Davidman, Jessica, Ryan, and Lauren Weiss. Cherished Great Zadie of Alyssa, Joshua, Stella and Sadie Green. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Julius and Susan Weiss, and Ed White. Cousin of Manfred Grosz. Predeceased by his other siblings, Czilli Haas, Bertha Taub, Sylvia Rosen, Diane Stark, Herman, Joseph, Jack and Michael Weiss. Dear brother-in-law of the late Edith and the late Max Walter, Mildred Steinberg and the late Issie Steinberg. He leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a gentle man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Josee Verdon and the entire Geriatric ward for the kindness, devotion and dignity they bestowed upon our Dad. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 15 at 11 a.m. Burial at Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
