KATZ, Paula (nee Ghelman) On Friday, August 29, 2014. Wife of the late Bubi-Berl Katz. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Beverley and Morton Mendelson, Morris and Carina Katz, Brian Katz and Joann Wadge. Cherished Bubby of Simon and Alice Mendelson, Asher Mendelson, Dana Mendelson and Michael Donovan; Michael, Lauren, and Aviva Katz. Loving great-grandmother of Emet Micah, Kol-Dov and Baila Mendelson. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses. Sadly mourned by her family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Adeline Khadoury, Dr. Golda Tradounska, Dr. Michael Dworkind and the exceptional staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital for their care and compassion, as to well as her devoted caregivers, Jennifer, Eden, Lina and Elena. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, August 31 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Hungarian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5700 Rembrandt Ave., C.S.L., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
