DICK, Arthur. On Monday, October 18, 2004 after a long, courageous and dignified battle surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Dearest husband of fifty-five years of Sylvia Plotkin. Beloved father and father-in-law of Francine and Ian Finlay, Neil and Eileen Dick. Cherished Zaidie of Brian and Carrie Anne; Alison and Courtney. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Fay and the late Max Dick, the late Pearl and the late Meyer Sussman, the late Anita and the late George Singerman, and brother-in-law of Morty and Lise Plotkin. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and many friends. The family appreciates the extraordinary care by Dr. Melnychuk, Dr. Gad Friedman, Dr. Lubarsky and the nurses and staff of Oncology and 7 West Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Wednesday, October 20 at 1:15 p.m. Burial at the Hungarian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his son's home.
