GOTTHEIL, Doris (nee Itzkovitch) On Friday, December 7, 2012, in her eighty-seventh year. Beloved wife of the late Saul Harry Gottheil for fifty-six years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and Howard Bargman of Toronto, Jeffrey Gottheil of Toronto, Neil and Lindsay Gottheil of Ottawa. Proud and loving Bubby of Jessica, and Ariel. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Irwin and Betty Itzkovitch, the late Nathan Ivers and the late Pauline, the late Rosie and late Donald Laden, the late Sylvia and the late Norman Holtzman. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Annie (Chickie) Harold and all her many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Special thanks to Dr. Victor Cohen of the Oncology Department, the staff of the Palliative Care Unit, and Naomi Kogan, all of the Jewish General Hospital, for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 9, at 12:00 pm. Burial at the Ship Family Circle Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 2555 Modugno, #807, St. Laurent, ending Sunday evening and continuing in Toronto.
