SCHLAR, Sol It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sol, on Sunday, June 12, 2011. Beloved husband of Clara for sixty-four years. Loving father and father-in-law of Allan and Sarah, Barbara Joy and the late Avery Silverstein. Devoted grandfather of Stephanie and Stuart, Elana and Brett, Matthew, Perri, Laurel, Corey and Amy, Kimberley, and Erin and Yannick. Brother and brother-in-law of Mike and Thelma, and brother-in-law of Ed Markus, Ruth and the late Phil Markus. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his niece, Judy and nephew, Carlos. Special thanks to the 5th floor staff of Kastner Pavilion at the Jewish Eldercare Centre, and to the Emergency Staff at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, June 14 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagodol Section, de la Savane.
