CHAWKIN, Phyllis (nee Berbrier). Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, April 4, 2004. Beloved wife and soul mate of Mark. Exceptional and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Cathy (Brian), Karen and Steven Rich, and Keith (Julie). Special mother-in-law of Lenny Prince. Cherished Bubbie of Jaclyn and Brittany Prince, Melanie and Adam Rich. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bernice and the late David Berbrier, Sarah and the late Jack Marcovitch, Laura Barmash, Edie and the late Jackie Berbrier, the late Arnold and the late Lucy Berbrier. Sister-in-law of Mickey and the late Betty Chawkin, Tibby and the late Sol Teblum. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Thursday, April 8 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Beth Hamedresh Hagodol Congregation Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva private.
