RUTH PINSKY (nee WITKOV) 1922 - 2011 In her ninetieth year, on Friday, September 9, 2011. A loving and remarkable woman of strength, generosity, optimism and humour, she lived each day bravely and fully. Beloved wife of the late Gabriel Pinsky. Beloved mother of Barry of Toronto, Lawrence of Montreal, Earl (Heather) of London, Ontario. Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Sara. Dear sister of the late Shirley Stein (the late Martin) the late Ethel Lash (the late Dave) and the late Dr. Hy Witkov. Sister-in-law of Goldie Raymer (the late Joe Raymer), the late Alec Pinsky (the late Yetta), Edith and the late Louis Pinsky, the late Katie Spevak (the late Moe Spevak) and the late Joe Pinsky (Sarah). Ruth leaves behind her dear cousins, nephews, nieces, family and friends. A friend to animals, she will be dearly missed by her beloved pets. Special thanks to her devoted caregivers, Ayesha and Anita, and the many others who helped out the last few years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, September 12 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedrash Hagadol Section, de la Savane.
