Cherished grandmother of Heidi Isaacson, Jared Isaacson and Claire Fowles; Katana Guttman, and Ariela Guttman. Proud great-grandmother of Eliza Ann and twins Ben and David. Devoted daughter of the late Sarah and the late Isaac Globus. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Saul and Mildred Globus, Anna Globus Hill and Harry Hill and Shirley Lassner, Jack and Faye Globus, Leo and Helen Globus and Rena Martinengo. Dear sister-in-law of Sarah Kahn, and Leah Cohen; predeceased by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Max and Ray Guttman, Charles and Yetta Goodman, Louis and Clara Goodman, Manny and Sayde Goodman, Larry Kahn, Clara and Sam Abramovitch, and Sheldon Cohen. Jean is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, and by all those she held dear. Well-known as the co-owner of the oft-frequented Anna Globus Hill Boutique in Snowdon, she retired in 1991 at the age of eighty. Ahead of her time, she will forever stand as an example of the liberated woman, balancing motherhood, community involvement, family life and business acumen while being a most supportive wife - succeeding on all fronts. She accomplished this with honesty, integrity, forthrightness, humour, and most of all with love and devotion. The family wishes to thank her devoted caregivers Glecy, Rowena, and Ana who were instrumental in prolonging her life and allowing her to enjoy her final years comfortably and without worry, but above all with dignity. They took pride in her appearance and well-being as she would have done herself, and for that we are forever grateful.
