SCHMERER, Fella (nee Burstzyn). Suddenly, in Florida, on Saturday, December 22, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Joseph z"l. Adored and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Sylvia and Charles Serchuk, Sharon, Claire and Martin Pressman. Proud and doting "Grandma" of Laurence and Malory Serchuk, Eric Serchuk (girlfriend Amy), Hillary, Maxine and Natalie Pressman. She was overjoyed to be a great-grandmother to Mila Serchuk. Holocaust survivor. Predeceased by her beloved parents Shmuel and Cipora. Loving sister of Sara, the late Joshua Rothstein and her beloved late baby brother Louis Alexandor (Carol Dekoven). Special sister-in-law of Sylvia and the late Max Schmerer. Always interested and devoted aunt of three generations. Her family was her life! She was our light; our one and only Fella. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Wednesday, December 26 at 12 noon. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagadol Section, de la Savane.
