SCHWARTZMAN, Jack J. Peacefully, at Maimonides Geriatric Centre, on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at the age of ninety-two. Beloved husband of Sophie Milberg. Loving, devoted and selfless father and best friend of Jennie Schwartzman and her husband, Jay Takefman. Doting grandfather of Addison and Aidan, who will miss him dearly. Caring stepfather of Linda and her husband, Gary Benjamin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Phyllis and Abe Pinchuk, the late Rita and the late Sam Reznick. Wonderful uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Jack was a World War II veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Mary's Geriatrics Department, Maimonides Geriatric Centre, CLSC Rene-Cassin, as well as Isaac, Jack's caregiver. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, July 7 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Stepaner Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
