MILBERG, Hymie Teddy It is with infinite sadness that we announce the passing of Hymie Teddy Milberg on Monday, December 1, 2014. Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia. Dearest father of Tamara (Peter) and Tanya. Adored Zaidie of Ana Amelia "Millie" of Switzerland, Logan, and Blythe of Scotland. Teddy graduated with a BA (Hons) from Sir George Williams University and MA in Education from McGill. He taught for more than forty years and inspired generation of students, including his own daughters, with his love of reading, math and scientific discovery. Twice a Shell Canada Fellow at the University of Calgary as well as President of the Quebec Association of Geography Teachers, he was immediate Past Worshipful Master 2013-2014 of Meridian Royal Alexandra Lodge No 125 G.R.Q., A.F. & A.M. AF Masons. He will be fondly remembered by Francis, and by his friends and colleagues at Kahnawake, the "Bagg Street Shul" and the Mesifta. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Francois Patenaude and Dr. Jennifer Friedmann, who over the last twelve months made his journey with cancer bearable through their unfailing encouragement, understanding, and compassionate care.
