Surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 24, 2001. Beloved husband and best friend of fifty-seven years of Sally. Loving father and father-in-law of Anita (Lila) and Steve Feinstein, Diane Edelman, Judy and Myron Grumet, and the late Bobby. Proud and cherished zaidy of Jessica and John Opert, Joshua and Jordan Feinstein, Tiffany and Ashley Joseph, Robin, Jesse, Haley and Adam Grumet and great-grandfather of Rachel Opert. Dear brother of Boris and predeceased by three sisters who perished in the Holocaust. Brother-in-law of Zigmund and Lilly, and Alex and Halina Krancberg. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Tuesday, June 26 at 3 p.m. Burial at The Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedrash Hagodol Section, de la Savane. Shiva at his residence. Donations to the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Center. A fighter to the end, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. |
